Issue 3 of the ongoing TRANSFORMERS series is now announced. This features a cover by Don Figueroa and this alternative cover by me. This is the second of the six I am currently doing for IDW. Strike a pose Rodimus 
What tickles me about this is that for many years people have commented on the fact that I used to make the Transformers very ‘human’. I would draw them with expressions and teeth and sometimes saliva. Of course it was never saliva but oil. Well, to take that a step further I decided at the colouring stage to show Rodimus Prime’s breath in this chilly environment. Click on the picture to see a larger version where you should be able to see it. Too human? surely not. After all, robots would give off something from the heat they would generate 
So I am finally doing it. the first two Marvel Trans covers to go for auction will be issues 71 and 73. It will be interesting to see how they go It all starts at 11pm BST for 10 days. So as promised, I am going to be auctioning most of my old Marvel Transformers covers from 1990. Found a few in a box in the attic. 69, 70, 71, 73, 74, 76, 77, 78 and 80 so far. Not sure what happened to the others and of course, Geoff Senior was the artist on issue 75. Just scanning them all in and should have something up on eBay in a couple of days
Just finished the third of the series of TRANSFORMERS covers that I am currently doing. Can’t wait to show you what these all look like but you will have to wait a little longer. IDW will show them as and when. Three more to go and then that may be it for me in the world of TRANSFORMERS. I am sure that I will doodle the odd Optimus Prime for charity of something but unlikely to be doing any more comics stuff.
The aution of GI Joe covers has gone very well. There are a few internal pages ending their auction tonight on eBay so will be interesting to see how mauch interest they get. I am going to hold off autioning the remaining covers for now. I think those that have been buying are a bit spent out.
Next up at some point will be the original art for the Marvel US Transformers that were done around 1990. There are 11 of them somewhere in the attic. The search is on.
